SCOTT, RANDAL ARCHIBALD Rank: Sergeant (Pilot) Regiment/Service: Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve Unit Text: 58 Sqdn. Age: 21 Date of Death: 27/12/1941 Service No: 981198. Son of Randal Brown Scott and Mary Catherine Scott, of Dundrod, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland.

Crumlin Airman Missing

Sergt Pilot Randal Archibald Scott son of Mr and Mrs Randal Scott, Fairview Ballydonaghy, Crumlin has been reported missing. Aged 21 he received his education at the Methodist College, Belfast. he was employed in Stormont prior to joining the RAF in 1940.

Randal’s mother was Mary Katherine McCullough. His paternal grandparents were William Scott and Margaret Sufferin.

Crumlin Airman Killed. Former "Methody" Boy

Sergeant – Pilot Randal Archibald Scott, R.A.F., aged 21, who was previously reported missing, is now reported killed in action. he is the second son of Mr.and Mrs. Randal Scott, "Fairview", Ballydonaghy, Crumlin. He was educated at Methodist College, Belfast, and was employed in Stormont prior to joining the Royal Air Force in 1940.
