Glenavy Apprentice Boys
The following resolution has been passed by the Murray Club at Glenavy:- Proposed by Bro. W.J. Geddis, seconded by Bro. E. Ingram – "The members of the Glenavy Branch of the Murray Club, Apprentice Boys of Derry, on this their last meeting prior to the proposed introduction to Parliament of the Home Rule Bill, hereby enters their solemn protest against any such measure, and while fully conscious of the responsibilities incurred hereby declare emphatically their unalterable determination to repudiate the authority of any legislature, save that of the Imperial Parliament, and will steadfastly resist at all costs its authority and demands."
